# Automate from ClickUp

> Connect a workspace and select matching tasks.

[Connect ClickUp](/integrations/oauth) in Settings and approve access to the intended team/list. Factorize registers the task webhook on connection. Use the browser job editor to select a list and rule target IDs; MCP does not discover ClickUp lists/statuses.

Add this trigger to the complete job configuration:

Replace IDs with browser-selected values. All configured rules must match. Read the returned stable slug/reflection before using `{{trigger-2.task}}` in the prompt. Ensure the execution agent separately has any ClickUp access required to work on the task.

Change one test task to the selected status. Verify delivery with `list_webhook_deliveries({"provider":"clickup"})`, inspect its timeline, job activity and resulting run. Reconnect in Settings if provider authorization expires; use [event troubleshooting](/troubleshooting/events) for rejected or absent deliveries.
